I've been more of a photoblogger on my Facebook.
A lot of people should tell since Tyler is only 10 1/2 months old and already has over 600 posted photos.
And EVERY single one has a caption.
I like my caption stories :)
Lots has happened since my last blog.
We've moved.
Tyler's quadrupled in size.
Kevin's completed his Master's program.
And now we are planning our son's 1st birthday party.
Life is awesome.
Tyler still wakes up once a night for a diaper change and bottle.
He has slept through the night a handful of times.
We've never tried sleep training.
Taking the easy route of just giving him what he wants.
It will probably bite us in the butt later.
Or it might just work its own way out.
We shall see.
I need to be more proactive and less scared when it comes to table foods.
He's fine with baby food and oatmeal cereal.
I see other babies Tyler's age (and even younger) happily eating baby cookies and fruit.
Tyler doesn't know what to do with it.
He thinks they're just things that stick to his fingers.
They get nowhere near his mouth.
He just lets them drop.
Need to work on that.
Tyler...
Smiled at a few weeks.
Rolled over at 4 months.
Sat up on his own at 6 months.
Started crawling at 9 months.
Has been pulling himself up to his feet for the last week or so.
Once he starts walking (read: running), life as I know it is over.
But going to parks will be more fun.
I need to update my blog more often.
I'll be back in.. oh.. 5 months ;)

Elinor! Thanks for inviting me. I was literally just about to send you a message asking to see your bloggy blog! I love this post. I hope you are inspired to update more often.
ReplyDeleteTyler is super awesome, by the way. My friends' baby, Mahala, is just now standing on her own at 13 months. They also never tried sleep training, and one night just let her be all night and she was more than okay with it! Maybe you will be that lucky with Tyler one day in the future, whenever he is ready!
yay!!! i love that you are totally fine with just giving him what he wants. that's how i am about tv with brennan. i go back and forth between feeling totally guiltly and totally liberated.
